Join City Blossoms in the Cardozo garden! Tasks for this workday include a variety of garden maintenance activities such as weeding, spreading mulch, and spreading soil.

Cardozo is home to half our year round, garden-based Youth Entrepreneurship Cooperative program. At the core of the program is a youth-led business called, Mighty Greens. Through this business, Youth Staff (students participants from Cardozo) learn to combine their interests of environmental and food justice work with micro-enterprise and job readiness skills development. Throughout the year, participants at Cardozo maintain their garden space and greenhouse, create added-value products using their garden’s harvest, lead workshops, and sell/donate their products and produce back to the local communities.
