Join City Blossoms in the Cardozo garden! Tasks for this workday will include garden maintenance activities such as planting, watering, weeding, and light construction.

Cardozo is home to half our year round, garden-based Youth Entrepreneurship Cooperative program. At the core of the program is a youth-led business called, Mighty Greens. Through this business, Youth Staff (students participants from Cardozo) learn to combine their interests of environmental and food justice work with micro-enterprise and job readiness skills development. Throughout the year, participants at Cardozo maintain their garden space and greenhouse, create added-value products using their garden’s harvest, lead workshops, and sell/donate their products and produce back to the local communities.
