About the Program:
Interested in urban gardening and food production? Join the U.S. Botanic Garden and Washington Youth Garden for a program just for teens!
Meet local professionals representing a variety of careers in urban gardening, food production, and community engagement as they share their personal and professional journeys and day-to-day job activities. Small breakout groups will provide you the opportunity to ask questions and learn how your interests can lead to exciting career pathways. Then collaborate with other teens to chart out ideas for further engagement with the diverse food and agriculture community around Washington, D.C.
