The Garden Fiesta

City Blossoms is thrilled to invite you to join us on Friday, June 14th from 6-9pm for City Blossoms’ annual Garden Fiesta. This year’s theme is Flower Power Disco. Get ready to bust your best dance move when you hear that funky music!
The City Blossoms Garden Fiesta is our annual fundraising event. Join us in toasting to equitable, kid-driven green space in a fun-filled evening for all ages!

PRICE: Tickets are $35 online / $40 at the door. Each entry comes with a complimentary drink and raffle ticket! Free admission for children under 12 y/o.
ATTIRE: Flower Power Disco-ready! Whether your vibe is peace and love or you channel the glitz and glam of the mirror ball, be sure to Donna your Summer disco clothes and get ready to boogie in our backyard Studio Garden
FOOD & DRINK: City Blossoms is proud to feature two local, family-owned Palestinian businesses as our food vendors for this year’s Garden Fiesta, Z&Z and Bawadi Mediterranean Grill. Enjoy a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian Palestinian recipes, including man'oushe, falafel, rolled grape leaves, and so much more!
Keeping our thirst quenched is our very own Kendra Hazel and her plant-based wellness business, Green Things Work, as well as local black-owned Caribbean rum brand, Ten to One.
Finally, for dessert, our neighbor and staple Kennedy Street business Everyday Sundae will bring the best ice cream flavors to the Garden Fiesta for dairy and non-dairy lovers to enjoy!
TALENT: Behind the camera all evening is the incredibly talented, Beverlié Lord (also our board chair!), on behalf of her business Satsun Photography. For the second year in a row on the 1s and 2s is Zach Pleasant, our groovy DJ for the night. Last, but certainly not least, Patricia Pedranza is back once again to adorn us with her astonishingly beautiful and thematic face painting superpowers.
RAFFLE PRIZES: A huge THANK YOU to our community members for contributing to our raffle for this year's Garden Fiesta. This year, we have raffle prizes from DC United, Patagonia Washington DC, Marcella Kriebel, Grounded, HR Records, Fatima Knits, Hard Training Club, Good Day Scents, Jun Lee Prints, Washington Wax Works, Ten to One Rum, Roshani Kothari (Global Mosaics), and Green Things Work.
