DESCRIPTION:Everyone has done such a great job caring for the new Marion St. Intergenerational Garden that there is now too much basil. Or so we thought before deciding to put together the first ever BASIL BONANZA. City Blossoms is partnering with the Runcible Spoon, a local food zine (http://therunciblespoon.info) to host a two-part basil feast:    1. MONDAY AUG. 23rd, 4-7pm: Come pick up basil (sweet, thai or lemon varieties available) at Marion St. Garden. Take the basil home to make any kind of recipe you would like to serve about 5 people.    2. WEDNESDAY AUG. 25th, 4-6:30: Last minute basil if you still need it.  6:30-8: BASIL BONANZA TASTING, bring your dish to Marion St. Garden for a nice laid back potluck. We will all get to taste each others dishes and prizes will be awarded.
